After School Enrichment

A New School Year

As we prepare to begin this school year we would like to inform you that this program is available only to those students who are invited based on specific criteria.  We will soon be sending home letters and applications to those students based on a list compiled by teachers, administration, and after school tutoring staff.  If your child brings home an application please fill it out in a timely manner and send it back whether you are accepting the invitation or responding with a no.  The program begins soon after school is back in session and we would love to have our spots filled before the first day.  Thank you and have a great start to the school year.

ASE PROGRAM

                                                                      (After School Enrichment)

PathFinders is back!  The After School Enrichment (ASE) program, PatherFinders, is held from 3:15-5:00p.m., Monday through Thursday for 1st thru 5th graders at no cost to the families.  Sponsored by the Community Schools of Frankfort thru a 21st CCLC grant, our goal is to support your child in finding new "pathways" to learning resulting in better grades, higher testing scores and more confident students.

PathFinders will be taught by certified teachers, we focus on a variety of reading and math skills for the students.  Healthy snacks begin the day at 3:15p.m., at 4:45p.m. a supper sack is provided by the YMCA, and bus transportation is provided at 5:00p.m., for each student at the end of the day. Physical activities such as Minds In Motion will be incorporated into the learning schedule, so we can be sure our bodies and minds are getting stronger!

PathFinders  will start on Monday,  September 28, 2015 thru Thursday,  May 12, 2016
